Help

I am in the process of making my first ever Christmas card and to be honest I just don't know what to do now. I don't think card making is for me as I don't seem to have any creative inspiration :(

I have not cut Tilda out yet but what else can I do on this card? It seriously needs brightening up!!!

Christmas "Nappy" cakes baked today!!!

Just "baked" these today!!

I have spent all afternoon making a "Japanese" Tilda card. Being new to this it took a lot of thought. My hands were shaking and I feel quite nervous colouring in in case I make a mistake (don't know why lol) I used "Stickes" for the first time. I finished it only to find out I put everything on the card and the opening is at the top instead of side or bottom :)

Just made this last night.




I now have the basics to start making cards, I think!!! Thanks to everyone for sending me things to get started and all the advice, it's all appreciated :)

Now it's just "practice makes perfect" I presume.

Got an order for a luxury nappy cake on Thursday night for collection Friday. Bit of a rush but customer was delighted with it :)

My second card

I have just finished my second card. I would have preferred some flat flowers but don't have any yet!!! I think that is next on my list....but where does the list stop ;)

My very first card

Finished at last my very first card. I think I need lots of practice but it's onwards and upwards. Thanks to everyone for all their help, advice and for sending me gifts. Special thanks to Melissa for providing lots of things to get me started this card is courtesy of her.

I am new to cardmaking and just want to thank everyone for answering all my questions and sending me lovely gifts.

Tonight I completed my first stamp!

Well tonight I sat down and examined all my new purchases. I have "attempted" my first stamp :) I found doing the skin really difficult and I found it difficult under an artificial light. I will try the second one tomorrow in daylight.

I think I will order some more Promarkers tomorrow as I need some brighter ones.

I think this is going to take loads of practice!

The Postman has been busy this week.

Started my shopping list - Promarkers,Magnolia Ink magazine, ink and first stamp ordered :) Hoping to visit my local papermill this week to get some card etc.
